Abstract

Modernizing legacy enterprise systems is a critical imperative for organizations seeking to maintain competitive advantage in a volatile digital economy. This paper explores a triadic framework for enterprise transformation that integrates Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), Cloud Native Computing, and targeted Leadership Development. While cloud-native architectures provide the scalable, resilient, and elastic infrastructure necessary for modern operations, GenAI introduces unprecedented capabilities for automated code migration, intelligent data synthesis, and hyper-personalized customer experiences. However, technology alone is insufficient; systemic modernization requires a parallel evolution in organizational culture and leadership capabilities. This study investigates how leaders can effectively manage the socio-technical friction inherent in rapid technological transitions, foster psychological safety, and cultivate an algorithmic mindset across teams. By analyzing the intersection of these three domains, we propose an integrated paradigm for sustainable modernization. The findings indicate that organizations aligning infrastructure upgrades with AI-driven automation and adaptive leadership methodologies achieve significantly higher deployment velocities, lower operational risks, and enhanced long-term agility compared to those pursuing purely technical roadmaps. Ultimately, this comprehensive approach ensures that enterprise modernization delivers both immediate engineering efficiencies and enduring strategic value.
